Fiat Doblo

Expected in : 2013 Year
Expected Price : 16 Lakhs - 16.5 Lakhs

 ABOUT:

The Fiat Doblo is a panel van and leisure activity vehicle produced by Italian automaker Fiat since 2000, it was unveiled at the Paris Motor Show in 2000.
The all new Doblo was launched in early 2010 and is built in Turkey by Tofa. The 2010 Doblo uses new platform which has 2,755-millimeter (108.5 in) wheelbase, 790-liter (28 cu ft) luggage compartment, and low CO2 emissions (129 g/km with the 1.3 Multijet 90 PS (66 kW; 89 hp) engine). Even though it is not sold in Mexico, the new Doblo will also be sold in North America with Fiat's North American partner Chrysler Group's Ram truck brand, starting from 2012. The Doblo is also sold by General Motors European Opel and Vauxhall brands as Combo.
As of July 2011 the Doblo is available as a pickup called Fiat Doblo Work Up or Fiat Pratico in Turkey.
n February 2010, Tofa have revealed their development activities on the All-Electric version of their Doblo 2010.
The vehicle itself was also been introduced to press in July 2010, as "The First Commercial Electrical Vehicle Developed in Turkey". It has been also revealed that, Tofa will be FIAT's development pole for electric light commercial vehicles (LCV). In 1 Millionth Doblo ceremony, Doblo EV was tested by press and Turkish Minister of Industry and Commerce, Nihat Ergün.
After ending their relationship with Mercedes Benz, Chrysler Group LLC was left without a competitive van in the nuited States. In Europe, FIAT builds some of the most competitive, popular vans in the segment. Logic would dictate that FIAT will market their Doblo XL as a Ram, or possibly as a FIAT. Either way, it would give Chrysler/FIAT a weapon in the simmering battle against Nissan and Ford’s new crop of vans in North America.
The Doblo is currently offered in five-passenger, seven-passenger, and cargo van configurations. It can be fitted with a choice of three four-cylinder power trains: 1.4-liter gasoline, 1.6-liter diesel, and 2.0-liter diesel. Compared to typical, full-size vans sold in the United States, the Doblo promises to be fuel efficient, with the small-displacement diesels providing generous torque and promising long intervals between servicing. But it won’t have the load capacity of the Sprinter.
